Oatmeal Bread
Ingredients
6 Cups Flour
2 ½ Tsp. Salt
½ Cups Molasses
1 Cup Rolled Oats
2 Cups Boiling Water
2 Pkgs Yeast
1/3 Cups Warm Water
Directions
Pour boiling water over oats and let sit ½ hour.
Add yeast last 5 min.
Add salt, molasses to stiffened oats and yeast.
Add 2 cups of flour stir then 2 more.
Use the rest as you knead.
Cover bread and let rise 2 hours.
Punch down and place in 2 greased loaf pans.
Let rise 1 hour.
Bake till golden brown.
